If you're looking for a serious motorcycle tour, one that might even push your own comfort levels a bit, then look no further! As a motorcycle rider of 20 years, I signed up for the advanced Black Lava tour, and neither James (owner) nor Rick (righthand man) disappointed during our tour, and are super cool guys to spend time with (Jonathan back at the office is no slouch either)!

If you want to see and experience areas of Bali that you would be almost guaranteed to never see otherwise, I say again, look no further. I spent two weeks in Bali, and while many adventures were had, my mind keeps going back to the beauty I was immersed in all throughout our 8/9 hour, full day ride. What can I say.. this was the second time around for me and I loved it.
The black lava run was the best tour I have done so far and saw a different side of Bali that I would have never seen.
Excellent bikes, excellent staff, friendly and very knowledgeable.
If you want adventure and a ride that is different this is the one you want, so ring them up and book it, see the real
Bali. You will have a blast!
Loved every minute of it.

Widi and Armand did a great job leading me on the Memories of Munduk day trip. The trip started with a safety briefing with illustrative photos and diagrams and fitting for safety gear. During the ride Widi set an enjoyable and deliberate pace, and Armand would block traffic during left turns and roundabouts so that the group stayed together. There were regular rest and photo stops and they took a variety of photos and videos which were provided once the trip was over. This is a great way to see Bali and enjoy the scenery - I wouldn't have wanted to rent a bike and explore on my own, what with all the traffic, livestock and other things crowding the roads.. Having a guide let focus completely on the ride. Would definitely do this again if I return to Bali.

Took my two sons 9 & 13 on a half day rice runner tour and it was awesome. My 9 year old on the back of my bike and my 13 year old on the back of a guide's bike. They loaded up the kids with safety gear - and overall it felt very safe. There was 2 guides on bikes (front and back) and they'd block intersections to usher us through - but it was mostly quiet rural roads and villages. If you know how to ride a bike its a great way for the kids to experience parts of Bali you don't normally see - and way more fun than a scooter or private driver!

Went on the Memories of Munduk tour. Great experience! The Intrepid Moto team is very professional and determined to make sure you have the best time! What an amazing day trip we had. Absolutely loved it.

I fell in love with the Hunter MAVERICK MV500cc I rode for the day.

James and Wira from Intrepid Moto went out of their way to make sure that the day was fantastic.

From the briefing to having all the right gear included, showing us the most beautiful roads and routes with stunning views. The places we stopped, the temple with a fantastic explanation of Balinese culture, a fantastic lunch break with quality food and a chance to try local honeys and ceremonial cacao. And then on to see the wild monkeys.

And the riding! I wished we could have carried on for hours. I went home at the end of the day with my heart full. Brilliant equipment, great company, and a head full of memories.
