During these times of uncertainty we feel it’s our social responsibility to lend a helping hand to those less fortunate who are facing extremely challenging social, environmental and financial circumstances. Having a positive influence in our community has never been more important than it is now so we here at Intrepid Moto would love nothing more than to extend our support and help to raise awareness and participate in local projects through donations and active contributions. Furthermore, If you do decide to plan a tour with us then a portion of the proceeds will automatically be designated to one of our affiliated charities of your choice. Here are just a few of the causes we support.
M.O.R (Movement of Recovery)
Movement of Recovery is a free information service, dedicated to any individual: family member or person seeking help with substance use related issues. M.O.R promotes sobriety as an attractive and positive lifestyle choice, with an aim to show people that “Recovery is to be Enjoyed Not Endured”.
The organization began in January 2018 with an addict in recovery venturing in a van through New Zealand and Australia. Then in 2019 with a fellow Indonesian recoveree embarked on a 20,000 kilometre cross country mission through Bali, Java, and Sumatra over a 5 month period filming addicts in recovery, uniting the community and promoting their desperately needed services.
The M.O.R. media and social media platform is designed to provide a space for the celebration of recovery and promoting services to participate in the evolution and transformation of Recovery in its community related, social, legal and ideological aspects. Contribute to providing information, networking, education and breaking down the stigma and misinformation, clouding the perception of addiction therapy and recovery?
Crisis Kitchen
Crisis Kitchen Bali started as a pop-up project in April 2020 to offer pick-up meals to neighbors around the small restaurant Tropicana Churros Cafe however has now grown into a much larger effort to deliver meals and grocery packs for families in need.
By working directly with local communities and supporting its partners to source supplies and deliver cooked meals and care packs of essential grocery items, the team at Crisis Kitchen has helped feed thousands of hungry families since launching the foundation.
Every donation to Crisis Kitchen Bali enables our team to personally assist those living without basic essentials, the elderly, children, disadvantaged and disabled. Take a few minutes to see how the generosity of our donors is bringing immediate relief to local families every day.
Here in Bali a single dollar is powerful enough to give a meal to someone who may not have eaten in days and just a little bit more can sustain a family for up to a week. With your donation, and our volunteers’ time and energy, we can change the lives of thousands of Balinese.
