This is where service meets the road. Intrepid Moto does all the planning and provides the gear, giving travelers the freedom to marvel at the scenery, make new friends, and dream about their next trip with Intrepid Moto.

RENTAL CONFIRMATION & CREDIT CARD DEPOSIT

With your Tour Confirmation & Credit Card Deposit you accept these Terms and Conditions as a binding contract between Intrepid Moto and yourself, as the Guided Tour Participant. Please read them carefully. Intrepid Moto cannot accept any tour participant without a duly signed Tour Confirmation & Credit Card Deposit Agreement Form on day of motorcycle pick-up.

RESERVATION AND DEPOSIT

A 10% deposit is required at the time of booking and another 40% no later than 60 days before the tour start date. The remaining balance must be paid COA (cash on arrival) to the tour operator. For reservations booked within 60 days of the tour, a 50% deposit is required.

If you would like to pay the remaining balance earlier or with a different payment method, please contact us and make arrangements before the remaining balance due date. By clicking “Book Now” at checkout, you give Intrepid Moto permission to charge your card(s) 60 days before the tour start date. You also authorize Intrepid Moto to re-initiate any charge(s) to your card(s) that is dishonored for any reason. If Intrepid Moto does not receive the remaining balance prior to 60 days before pick-up date, then Intrepid Moto reserves the right to cancel the tour reservation and charge a cancellation fee.

RELEASE AND WAIVER

Every participant in an Intrepid Moto Motorcycle Tour is required to accept and sign a Tour Agreement and Liability Release Waiver before the Guided Tour begins. Intrepid Moto cannot accept a tour participant without these signed forms. Our agents can provide a copy of these forms upon request.

BAGGAGE

Intrepid Moto assumes no responsibility for loss, damage, or delay in delivering baggage to tour participants. Baggage insurance is recommended.

CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS

A reservation may be cancelled up to 60 or more days prior to the tour start date with no charge and a 100% refund will be authorized back to the cardholder. 50% of the total booking will be applied towards cancellation fee if the booking is canceled between 59 – 30 days from the tour start date and advanced deposit will be forfeited. 100% of the booking will be applied towards cancellation fee if the booking is cancelled within 30 days from the tour start date or if the customer does not show up. Refunds, if applicable, will be issued in a form of tour credit that can be redeemed within 1 year from the date it was issued.

Please note: A $25 admin fee will be applied to a reservation that is modified between 30 – 11 days before pick-up time.

TOUR CANCELLATION

In the rare event of a tour cancellation, Intrepid Moto will notify all tour participants immediately. Intrepid Moto will either offer the tour as a Self-Drive Tour (bike rental + hotel package) or will offer to operate the tour if all booked customers agree to a supplement charge. If customers do not accept to pay the supplement, Intrepid Moto will refund their payment in full, which will constitute the full settlement. Intrepid Moto is not liable for any additional costs or losses incurred by the tour participant due to Intrepid Moto cancellation of tour due to lack of participation. This includes but is not limited to the cost of pre-paid airline tickets, hotel reservations or automobile rentals. Situations may arise which will make it necessary for us to cancel, advance or postpone a scheduled tour, change itineraries or make substitutions regarding hotels, cities, tour guides and other travel arrangements. In that event, we do not assume responsibility or liability for any resulting losses, expenses or inconvenience. Your full tour price will be refunded if the tour is cancelled prior to scheduled tour start date.

Intrepid Moto requires that you take out adequate travel, health and accident insurance, and highly recommends purchasing trip cancellation insurance.

NON-OBSERVANCE OF TRAFFIC LAWS AND GROUP TRAVEL REGULATIONS

If the tour participant does not comply with traffic laws or the requirements for group travel, Intrepid Moto may cancel the contract and the rental motorcycle will be secured.

Tour participant REQUIREMENTS

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Valid motorcycle operator’s license
  • Valid International Drivers License
  • Minimum of one year of riding experience on heavyweight motorcycles
  • Major credit card is required

TOUR GUIDES

Your Tour Guides are there to assist you while on tour and will do their best to ensure that every participant gets the most out of your Intrepid Moto tour experience. It is extremely important for all riders to listen carefully to the Tour Guide’s safety and travel instructions each morning to help ensure the best possible group riding conditions. Should you desire to travel independent of the group for any length of time, the Tour Guides can assist you in planning a suitable route.

ALTERATIONS TO TOUR SCHEDULE

Tours operate on a seasonal basis and where seasonal variances and/or weather conditions cause changes in the tour routing and accommodations the itinerary will be adjusted accordingly, with alternate hotels, restaurants and roads being selected.

WEATHER CONDITIONS

Intrepid Moto operates tours year-round and weather conditions can vary depending on the season. Intrepid Moto cannot be held liable for unpleasant and unsuitable weather conditions, and no refunds shall be granted for such conditions. In severe and sudden changes in weather conditions Intrepid Moto reserves the right to cancel or postpone the tour until further notice and a tour credit will be issued to the participant.

WAIVER COVERAGE

All Theft and Damage Waivers and Supplemental Liability Insurance options are subject to the express terms and conditions of the tour contract and do not include coverage for injury, personal property, or damage as the result of negligence such as illegal use or use of vehicle while under the influence of drugs or alcohol. A Police Report is required for all damages or accidents. All damages to rented motorcycle without a police report will be considered at the fault of the Renter.

INSURANCE

Intrepid Moto requires that you take out adequate travel, health and accident insurance as well as recommends Trip Cancellation Insurance. Intrepid Moto currently offers Theft and Damage Waivers, as well as Supplemental Liability Insurance.

FREE TRANSFERS

Transfer between the contracted arrival and departure hotels and the Intrepid Moto locations is included on all Guided Tours. Restrictions may apply at various locations.

CUSTOM PICK-UP

If you wish to pick-up your bike at a location other than scheduled by Intrepid Moto a custom pick-up charge may be incurred.

CUSTOM DROP-OFF

If you wish to drop-off your bike at a location other than scheduled by Intrepid Moto a custom drop-off charge may be incurred.

HELMETS (INCLUDED)

Helmets are provided with motorcycle rentals and tours. Clients are encouraged to bring their own helmets to ensure comfort and proper fit.

STORAGE

Intrepid Moto will provide storage for client additional luggage at the pick-up location while on tour. Intrepid Moto is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

FUEL AND OIL

Fuel and oil costs are included on all Guided Tour riding days. However, Intrepid Moto reserves the right to charge an additional fee if fuel costs significantly exceed the average price per gallon at time of printing.

PAYMENT BY CREDIT CARD

Payment can be made by the following credit cards, VISA, Master Card, American Express, Discover or Diners Club via PayPal. Please send a payment notification email to tours@intrepidmoto.com to ensure proper application of funds before or at the time of payment.
